    I’m talking personal satisfaction.

For me it was being a tour bus driver/guide in Alaska. The most fun I ever had while earning a paycheck.

Oh c'mon @thumper , I was in the Navy. I've had "jobs" all over the world that were "personally satisfying".

That is a good questions I have had two jobs I really like. Both jobs involved meeting total strangers all the time, and traveling. ( gypsy at heart)
I joke and say I have the best job in the world. I get paid to travel and paid to spend someone else money... For a women could you think of anything better?

When I was a teen in the late 70's I worked at a full service car wash. The owner had business dealings with all the car dealership's in town. My job was shuttling cars from the dealer to the car wash... detail them and go back to get another one....rinse, repeat. Well the Pontiac dealer was highly coveted work because we got to drive the new Trans Am's. We ran the TOTAL DOG SHIT out of those cars!
Those cars would light up the tires at will and wouldn't stop until we let off the accelerator. We did that to all the cars but the Trans Am was the highlight. I did get busted one time walking a car sideways for about 50 yards......the only problem was the customer who purchased that car was behind me going to the dealer to pick it up. Got a good ass chewing over that because the salesman lost that sale needless to say.
Satisfying pay check because it was flat out FUN!
I love my present job. My office is a truck cab. Get to see the countryside and meet a lot of folks and home every night.

    It's a toss-up between being seasick on a LPH and being airsick on a C-130 :D

I guess I've had some fun and satisfaction with every job I ever had, but I'm not sure it has ever been consistent for any length of time. Then again, maybe I'm just a dissatisfied @sshole ;)...or maybe it's the job I haven't had yet. I'd sure like to give a shot at selling Indians.

I've had very few jobs that I disliked. I grew up on a farm and enjoyed the hard work and comradery. I'm retired from being up front with the friendly skies. That was a great job before 9/11.

I’m with you on that one @thumper. Last Monday I had a group from Utah travelling around Kiwiland on board a cruise ship, had them on my coach for the day and had a great time, really nice people. Driving a 2018 Volvo Coach, got paid and the group were very appreciative so a great day all round. Next ships due Friday, Sunday and Monday so a busy few days. Best part is the reaction from the group. I love that part of my job, Not so much the office time though!

Who knew being chauffeured by a semi-famous Indian rider was a perk of the cruise? Hell, sign me up!

I hear you loud and clear. It was like being a teacher, stand up comedian and much more. The passengers were always in a great mood which was what I loved. Not to mention, they would believe damn near anything.

Working on movies and tv shows at Universal Studios. If I could have gotten my Union Card I might not have left LA. Kind of ruined a lot of the magic of Hollywood, But what a blast(literally when I did explosions)!!!!!

Semi-famous, @Alpal wasn’t there -:) I wear my Indian Motorcycle Riders pin on tour and quite often creates great conversation and I always manage to slip something about Burt or Indian Motorcycles into my commentary. Folks from over the pond seem to enjoy hearing about stuff like that.

I have learned the hard way that not all people share my warped sense of humour and it bit me on the arse a few times. Sometimes forget that we have people from all walks of life and differing opinions so now I tone it down a bit.
