Typical so far, we're still in the grey area where Monday is gorgeous but Tuesday is a hail storm. Another month or so and we'll be mostly in the clear. How's the weather over in Burtland?

Truly. Those are worthy of any magazine I’ve ever seen.

Kind words fellas, friends and family are starting to get mad at me for not pursuing commercial photography lol. To be honest, I've never taken photography seriously, I don't know a thing about cameras. Every photo I've taken has been with a cell phone. Not opposed to the idea of doing it commercially, just not sure who to approach or how. Got to find myself a professional to chat with I think.

Worked at Wheels at Wanaka event over the weekend. Huge display of anything with wheels old and new. Unfortunately my work kept me a bit busy so most of what I saw was at a distance. Got a chance to check these out though: 20210404_135341.jpg 20210403_134117.jpg
The 5 1/2 hour ride to Wanaka is always a highlight with or without the show.

And what a ride it is. it would have to be one of the best scenic rides in the world. Google map it fullas, Christchurch to Wanaka, South Island, New Zealand. Spoilt, spoilt, spoilt.

Beautiful day/Shortish ride. Having a long oval head sucks. Finally just going to buy an Arai.

That’s a debate I’ve been having with myself for years. They have so many models, I have no idea which one to buy. Which one are you looking at?

Signet-X is their N. American longer oval. I tried it last week and it really is different, like old school vs HD TV different.

Ordered from Cycle Gear and not impressed with their shipping speed.

I will review it if you like. I really enjoyed the LST Vortex Carbon that is pictured in the "Photo of the day" thread.

It'll be available for $100 shortly. @tthunder38 was the previous beneficiary of my alien-shaped dome and ill-fitting expensive helmet problem.

Thanks. Ever since I banged my dome and put a flat spot on a brand new HJC, I’ve become a believer in good head protection. Taking a test for TBI is a very enlightening experience.

This is how I used to ride: FF81C787-2F76-47F0-8E78-BAF9D840F394.jpeg

Okay off the helmets for a minute. Took a lunch ride yesterday to go to my favorite rib place. ( yes I live in a place famous for bar be que, and ride an hour south ( 90 minutes if I want to take back roads) to get ribs. The ribs was not up to par, first time in 30 something years. Anyway when leaving go to get on bike and there is a chicken trying to cross the road, I am not joking. I watched for a while and then videoed. Conculsion to old question why did the chicken cross the road... He did not he was to chicken, and I have the evidence to prove it.:)
