I keep hearing about a UFO house up around Nashville. One of us oughta go find it!
Sounds like a plan!
I hear there's one near Chattanooga too.
Did a short run today100Ks or 65 miles just to see if my knee is up to riding. Buggered the ligaments around right knee 2 months ago.Headed of towards Whangamomoa, got to the top of
Strathmore saddle, that seemed to be enough went back home from there, still need more time yet.
Best parkbench ever.
Beautiful spot. Hope the knee is feeling better.
When I went from the Chieftain to Scout, having footpegs relieved the pain in my knee, allowing my leg to be at a natural angle.
Knees take forever to heal. Right now a year after an MCL/ACL tear, I'm still recovering!
Back roads of Tennessee yesterday, going by the Flintville Fish Hatchery at the beginning.
Yesterday I rode about a hundred and fifty miles on two lane roads around Lancaster, Kershaw, and Lee counties in S.C. Went by the Haile Gold Mine in Kershaw S.C. Made a mental note to stop and take a picture of the bike and the company signage the next time I pass by the mine. The mine is owned by an Australian company called OceanaGold. I plan on riding similar distances this afternoon as it is currently 70 degrees outside.
Did I see dogwoods blooming in your vid?
I didn't notice any, but then again I wasn't looking for any.
I have a Dogwood in my backyard next to where my Shepard is buried and it is not blooming.
A great weekend put a bit over 450 on this weekend. Moving and getting settled into new house hasn’t left me much time last 2 weeks. Rolled with guys from work on my part time job. You see a variety here LOL wife rollin back in for NASCAR race and finally getting my dog that I haven’t seen since October 3rd !
Didn't take long @Ny Mike . Says a lot about your personality to find friends quickly.
In and around Tim’s Ford Lake and the surrounding Mennonite community of Belvidere, Tn
Stinking cold here in East TN, but I see some great weather headed our way.
Love riding around/by lakes!
60's today. This is the start of a good week:
Not today, but I did do a ride with a mate a couple of Sundays ago.
Starting from the opposite ends of Sydney, we met in Penrith, at the base of the Blue Mountains (a beautiful mountain range visible from most of Sydney), rode up a well known tourist/bike route called "Bells Line of Road", had a very nice counter lunch (= lunch in a pub) in a town called Blackheath and then rode back down the hill along the main highway. 370 kms (~230 miles) door to door for me.
My friend was on a Moto Guzzi Californian and he almost kept up (he he).
Below is my route and he came from Campbelltown (centre/base of the map)
Great day out with a good mate.
edit - I just realised how bad the map image was - hopefully it's a little clearer this time.
You live on a beach in Australia. What have I done with my life?
Ha! Sorry about that @Baldhead_J - but someone has to live here...
Good day. The wiggles through Prospect, Tennessee are fantastic.
