I was 75 when I started this thread Alpal...
Growing old isn't for sissys, to quote an old saw!

I sold my BMW that I had a couple of months ago and still thinking about my next bike.
    Maybe a Royal Enfield twin?

    "What is Your Age..."

As a telling sign, I have got to the stage that I had to re-check the last few pages of this thread to see if I had posted in it already. Turns out I have, three times!!

I am now 6 months away from being "promoted" into the top age category - at least that is how I see it. Seriously though, other than a couple of relatively minor physical limitations:
    • I feel (relatively) great
    • I have a wonderful (i.e. patient and tolerant) wife and an awesome family (12 grandkids)
    • I am very happy in retirement - not the least bit bored
    • I own, and have time to ride, an amazing bike
    • I have some terrific mates to enjoy life with
    Life is pretty damn good.

    I am sure many other 65+ riders would agree . . .

I'll be 78 in Feb. Just got a '17 Chief vintage. I've had Harley's, Chiefs, Indian fours, Nortons, scooters. Restored many antiques over the years....a few national .National prize winners. Mitch

Looks like I’m one of the youngsters on the site, at 60. Feels like I’m ~35 or so, thanks mainly to a terrific wife of 38 years! Also helps to ride a great motorcycle - that’s some stay-young elixir for sure!

66YOA and loving it! Of course, like the rest of the "older" crowd, some days are diamonds and some days are stones.

Juan, I now have 12 GREAT GRANDKIDS!
I'm now 79 and 4 months now... still putting along without a bike so far!
I think I still want a Royal Enfield twin, but I'm waiting till some fool wants to part with his used bike.

Just go for it Ronnie and give yourself an 80th birthday present. My barber is in his late 70s and he talked about getting a RE for a long time. He now rides one and takes the long way to work every day. I enjoy getting my hair cut there because he just wants to talk bikes. No regrets.
