Trikes are Not Bikes! At the Durango Rendezvous 2 one of the Indian Reps was there to answer questions and Trikes were brought up. He asked how many of our group would be interested in an Indian Trike and out of about 130 people there only 2 hands were raised. Then he asked about a version of the FTR 750 and about 20 hands went up. As for Sidecars (the Only Real 3-wheel option for a Motorcycle) there are several companies that already make them for the Indian and have mounted them on several Indians. I just ordered a Heritage from Hannigan in Kentucky. Hannigan, DMC, and Champion all make copies of the Princess Sidecar for Indians. If you are after the style that typically went on the HDs , you have options from DMC, Champion, and Liberty. On top of that there are even More businesses that will help you with other makes and ages of Sidecars. I, personally, don't think Indian needs to get in the mix as long as they keep building their bikes Sidecar friendly.
