We made it thru this by pulling together. We’re gonna have to show our resilience hasn’t changed one iota !

 

We have 42,607 cases confirmed in the US. Only 58,957,393 more to go to match the number of people infected during the 2010 swine flu epidemic. Just some pause for thought.

I was just reading that. I find it interesting that those under 60 was hit the hardest due to the fact that 1/3 of those over 60 had antibodies due to exposure to a previous strain.

 

Theirs promising news on drugs already to combat this virus and with warmer weather starting to kick in that the virus has trouble with the timing of it all may substantial slow and eventually end this in the coming months.
China's summer heat has arrived and numbers are really improving based on news articles I've read.
The world needs to look at the South Korea model for future outbreaks. They did a great job getting on top of this. A lesson to be learned.

Something interesting that caught my eye....hydroxycloroquine is the drug used for malaria and shows signs that it works for this virus.
People that has Lupus is often times prescribed this drug. Nobody with Lupus that has been prescribed this drug is infected with this virus around the world.
Coincidence......?

 

I sincerely hope that the research and drugs are effective but in the meantime social distancing and isolation are probably our best and only currently effective option, because frankly the actual numbers and projections don't look good for many countries if these measures are delayed. Please keep yourselves and your families safe.
