Both my boys are in Melbourne as well as my favourite cousin, Lorraine. She tells me it is little frightening as reported cases creep nearer and nearer to her suburb,.......I do worry for all that she says they are being careful,.....

Woah, it is getting pretty crazy down there. A very interesting, yet troublesome, situation with what appears to be union members rebelling against their head office because they support compulsory vaccination on work sites. The news reports are saying the far right wing anti-vaccers, the anti-everything crowd and some professional protesters are jumping in too, which messes things up a bit.

This f-ed out pandemic is really fraying everyone’s nerves and testing political, law enforcement and organisational leaders everywhere.

    Tough times.

    Thanks for the kind thoughts.

It's a fkd up thing what is happening in Melbourne, Yes, but those poor souls have been locked down for 230 days or some far out number like that. Some just feeling enough is enough and venting I think. Sad and mad days.

    On a lighter note…

Coincidently, our Prime Minister is visiting USA right now, not that that is likely to be newsworthy over your way.

We have just signed up to a few USA built nuclear subs, which has pissed the French off no end, especially as we had a $90b deal in play with them for their diesel models.

However, it was very funny last week when, during a major announcement about the subs, sleepy Joe referred to our PM as “that fella Down Under”, appearing to have forgotten his name. I got a laugh out of that

    Ahh diplomacy is a fickle game . . .

The sub deal and INDOPACOM defense cooperative are big news here.

Good on the deal makers. the French can go to hell. I'll never forget the Rainbow Warrior incident in Auckland Harbour. Missed out on 90 billion, haha, good job.
