I remember exactly where I was when I first heard Rush Limbaugh. It was the spring of 1988. I was on 36 Street an the palmetto in Miami, passing a Denny's restaurant. He will be missed. RIP.
Sad news. I used to get up in the morning when I was working evening shift, just to watch his short lived TV show. As far as I’m concerned, that guy was an American hero.
Yes, there was no one like him nor will there be any like him again. He gave voice to whole generations who thought that we had no voice. Talent returned to God ! ! ! BD
First heard him in 88 or 89. When I came back to the states in 92 I watched his tv show. There was no one like him, and probably won’t be another like him in my lifetime. Hope the EIB network hires Candace Owens to take over for him. I’m just not into Savage or Levin, we need someone that there’s no way anyone can trash about (ie: old guy, white guy, rich guy, you name it). She fits the bill and has held her own in front of congress. She’s another one with talent on loan from (?)
He kept me company for hundreds of thousands of miles when I was an OTR Gear jammer. RIP Mr Limbaugh.
Like you I started listening to Rush in the late 80's. He will be missed. Always the brightest soul on the radio. Never could take Savage. I do like Levin when he goes in to the law and the constitution. I find his knowledge and insight to be far superior to anyone else I've heard. As for listening daily tho I've found Dan Bongino to be who I listen to. Unfortunately Dan is having a bout with cancer himself. I hope and pray he makes a full recovery.
