So I'm tooling along at the posted speed limit of 40 mph. Local road, little traffic. I'm being tailgated by a cage. Up real close, left lane open so he can pass- but no, he would rather tail gate. No shoulder, so I stay the course. Finally, as he passed, he flips me the bird. Gee, my immediate thought is that maybe the guy is a mute - poor bastard cant speak. He opens his window and mouths - "F You". I shrug it off, feeling sorry for him not being able to speak - a mute.
Finally got home and reviewed my day - great weather, sun is out, kind of warm - Bam, I remember the mute guy. I reflected on this - What if the "F" word were never coined? What would life be like without expletive laden speach that we guys in uniform and construction workers use everyday of our lives.

Imagine, Sarge says " Gosh darnit guys, someone is shooting at us from that tree line. Get that flippin machine gun on that danged wood line". Of course. I dont use the "F" word. Even when I hit my thumb with a gosh darned hammer.

So anyway, I guess I need a bikers perspective on this. I'm going to make whoopie with the wife now and looking forward to your darned responses gee wilikers

I think some people out there just hate Motorcycles for whatever reason.
As for the F word, I love it. I don't use it in front of my family at all, rarely at work and only sometimes with my friends. But the reason I love it is that it is the only word I know of in the English Language that can fill Every place in a sentence. I also love the word MotherF¥€&#r for some reason. :D

Don’t know if true but my 7th grade English teacher told us the word originated with the pilgrims. She said that when placed in the stocks in the public square, a persons crime would be written on stocks. She told us that “for unlawful carnal knowledge” was to long so they abbreviated it to F U C K. All of us guys would fantasize about having some carnal knowledge with her. She was a real hottie.

Having been a Marine and a cop, what would life be without it? We'd never be able to communicate. Just saying.

The "F" word has at least 50 + different meanings depending on the context, the audience, mood, descriptions etc. What a versatile word. Our culture might have collapsed without this word.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, the "F" word at times is worth at least 10,000 to say the least.

When I was in High School, I heard she and the Art teacher were caught doing the dirty in a janitor’s closet by a couple students and they both got fired.

Hats off to you @DoubleP for not jumping in the pit with the moron. I lived in Prescott for a few years in the early '80s. Native Arizonans were a really laid-back bunch. I'm guessing that fellow was from somewhere else.
