2019 Roadmaster. The temp gauge is consistently off by 9 to 10 degrees. Shows hotter than what the news people say it is when they do the traffic and weather. I have played with the settings but either can't or don't know how to adjust the temperature. Any one else have this issue? Can it be fixed? Thank you
My 19 RM reads about 3-5 degrees high consistantly. Not sure how it can be adjusted but my guess is possibly in the software. Maybe the dealer can tweak it.
My 2016 Roadmaster is off just 1º from most banks that have temperature readouts displayed. But it's off 2º from what my Davis Instruments weather station reads. Close enough in my book. Hot is hot and cold is cold, I can tell the difference.
Just about every Vehicle I've owned with an Ambient Temperature Gauge reads a bit higher than actual temp .. Got the actual temp on my phone from the weather channel now so don't even worry about it .. With a vehicle only Temp worried about is Coolant ( If Have ) or Oil Temp if Air Cooled ..
It's called road temperature, The temp that reflects off the pavement. Here in Okla. in the summer heat will be higher than what the phone tells me it is.
On automobiles they place the outside temp sensor in the air, ahead of the radiator and the A/C Condenser, but Polaris places ours behind the fairing. It picks up the heat from the motor, pavement, surround cars. Mine is always 5 degrees higher then actual temp readings.
My 14 Vintage was always about 2 degrees high. Now all of a sudden it is 12-14 degrees high and fluctuates way more often. I could live with the 2 degrees but the 12-14 and fluxing drives me bananas. Looking for reasonable solutions. Rawhide
