I have a 2017 Scout with 6000 miles on it and the rear tire has started to make a noise that sounds like going over a steel bridge, the roaring sound. Strangely I only hear it when going around a curve to the left. I have had the tire and belt inspected and all looks well with the exception of normal wear. Has anyone else heard this kind of noise from the stock tire on a scout ?

My tires have done this very thing with each set I've had on the bike.
Only difference is it does it in left or right sweeper's.
Nothing to worry about in my opinion. Just the side tread making the sound when you have it leaned over in a curve.
    I've got a 2016 Springfield however.

No never had that on any bike. so to be sure jack bike of the ground spin wheel through your hand and see if you feel a slight lump that's more than likely is a failing wrap in side the tire other wise just ride it.

Are these Kenda brand? If so do yourself a favour and change them for a better tyre, you won't regret it. The original Kendas on my Scout did growl on hard cornering towards the end of their life. Maybe look to see if the rear tyre is cupped, and noise in one direction only is probably due to uneven wear from the road camber.
I'm now onto my second set of Commander 11s on the Scout and they haven't made that noise.
