Went on a Ride today and bumped into another Sidecar Pilot in Marysville, Montana - a friend of mine who rides a Ural Patrol. Had a Great Ride.
Mine is a Hannigan - the best for the money imho. I got it from Hannigan in Murray, Kentucky. Although they work with Dealerships all over the States. Sidecars – Product Types – Hannigan Motorsports There are other Very Good Sidecars out there also - DMC is one of the Best and Jay is Very good to work with. DMC Sidecars | Motorcycle Sidecars, Motorcycle Trike Conversions | Sidecar Frames and Accesories I think those are the Top Two (well except for Steib - but they are Very Expensive and Built in Germany), but others are very good also - Motorvation, Champion, Liberty. It mostly depends on what Hack you want.
If you have more questions, just ask. I will be out your way this summer sometime - so you and your wife could check it out up close and see if it is something you really would like. All I can really say about Sidecars is that they are Way more Fun than you would think. I do still like two wheels - actually it is my preferred method of Travel, but the Sidecar is close.
Good friend in Colorado just got his Vintage equipped with a new sidecar from DMC Sidecars in Buckley, Washington. I talked him into the Indian and it is really pretty. They did a gorgeous job on the whole tamale!
