Fitted Grip Puppies to my Scout and really like them. I just used some soap to make them slip over the existing hand grips. Increased the diameter quite a lot and much more comfy on my test ride yesterday. Delivered to my door for NZ$35:00. Grip Puppies.jpg

Be Careful how much you increase the Grip some Guys with huge hands increased the Handlebar and Grip to the extent were Not getting enough room for the Clutch to Disengage..

Hi Ian, hey! They do look like they will do the job. I have tried to buy some Avons from the supplier in Aussie but have given up after three emails and no replies. Where did you get them from?

Hi Alpal, Ex Trade Me Listing #: 1317714091, arrived in two days and good trader to deal with. Bit nippy around the gills on my ride last evening over here in Hawkes Bay . Cheers, Ian

I never gave that any thought! Thanks for the heads up and I will check that on my next ride. Here's a newbie question for you, can the clutch be adjusted to compensate if the grips are too big so that it disengages completely?

You should be pretty right Mate as the clutch disengages pretty much as soon as you pull the lever in. Try it. Go down the road in top, cruising at say 60 MPH and just gently pull in the lever and you will hear the engine revs build.

$12: US is great value, we pay a lot more down this part of the world. I'm really impressed with them so far!

Thanks man! I have every intention on putting the stock front end back on soon. That girder is just not quite as fun to ride with.

Love the decal, is it available for sale? It looks incredible on the black tank!

Glad that you like it. I had it printed up at a shop that made motorcycle decals. It was pretty easy to get it made. The goal was to fill as much of the flat side of the tank as possible while keeping the script level, matching the colors that were on the speedo. It was all done by email in early 2015. I no longer have the files and the place I used it out of business. There are places that print custom decals, the process was pretty satisfying and you get something totally unique. Good luck if you decide to go this route.
