image.jpg Went for a 3 hour ride today. Got out to the everglades and I gotta say it's just what the doctor ordered. Rode through a monsoon for most of it but I was Totally relaxed when I got home. Even spotted a few gators. Life is good. Oh, btw, found a dead python. 6 footer.

Cook it up, wonder if it is tasty like our Texas rattlesnakes are!

All I've done in the six weeks I've had my SF is short trips. Any riding clears my head, doesn't need to be an all day or even a half day to keep me out of a rubber room.

Finally starting to cool down. Think I'll go for a short ride in about a half hour.

Done mostly short rides this year .. I consider anything less than 500 miles a short one .. Maybe next year ..

@JayFL459 I call anything under 400 miles a block. You know going around the block be back in a minute.:)

Yeah, I agree. Went on a short little ride - only 50 miles - just a short circle around the outside of Helena, Lake Helena and East Helena. Sky was blue, temp was 70, traffic was scant - thanks to the Holiday Weekend I am thinking - good for the Spirit. :)

FUNNY! :D I love "That's what She said" at the end of everything - sometimes my crew gets tired of it, but sometimes it is sooo perfect it gets a good laugh!

I'm with you on that - anything you can do in an easy day is a Short ride.

Any ride under 100 miles is a short in my book. In my area, even a 50 ride can take an hour on our twisting and scenic TN roads (no freeways nearby).

Yes there was. Every other table. The ducks were also swimming 6 feet apart!
