I thought it might be nice to take some pictures of the several Indian logos on the bike, because why not? Expected to take maybe 5-10 pictures, but ended up finding 20 of them!! So here they are, just for funsies.
Nah, even if one could be confused by the fact that there are so few logos in there, the nice red colour would give it away as an Indian! I understand your confusion, though, as the photos are black and white and there are not enough logos to make it clear.
Did you (or anyone realize) that on an older Scout 60 there is only on place that says SCOUT. 69s had it on the tank badge. Anyway, it is on the rubber pad under the seat/gas tank.
I have a regular Scout 69 (not Bobber, not Sixty, not Anniversary), and I haven't found a single palce where it says "Scout", though I must admit haven't checked under the seat. Mine has the war bonnet logo on the tank side, so no mention of "Scout" there.
And a few more on my 2016 scout. And then there's the original tyre brand that came on the bike but will never get on there again.
Gotta' ditch those cheapo Kenda tires. I swapped my 1st bike out to Michelin Commander II's and what a difference!
No,....it's a script capital I for sure,......While the script capital J is similar, on the downward stroke with your pen you travel left to right over the bottom end of the vertical line. This may help,..... https://www.quora.com/How-do-I-write-a-capital-J-in-cursive Alpal
