I was surfing the net for cheap Indian parts and ran across some saddlebag speaker.. Well... the problem that I have now is I'm unable to install them. I thought the Chieftains were pre wired for the speakers.. but I'm not seeing it.. and where does the amp mount..

Can you help a brother out? Pictures are always good..

The speaker kit should come with two brackets, one for use without a drivers backrest and one for use with. The "with" bracket mounts to the backrest mount. The "without" one mounts where the backrest mount would be located, The amp mounts to one of these brackets under the seat.

Also, under your seat there is a large electrical connector that has a rubber plug in the end. Pull the plug and the amplifier plugs in there. The speaker wires from the amp are fed to the saddlebag power connectors under the side panels.
The speaker wires run from the saddle bag and connect to the speaker leads from the amp under the side covers. That is the short version

I can provide more pictures and further info tomorrow if you would like,

Maybe @Blueshwk will jump in and be able to help you out. I'm still waiting on Concert Saddlebag Lids and the Speaker Kit so I can't help you yet.

Would you like me to post or email the installation instructions that came with the Indian kit?

Is this your amp? If so it mounts to the drivers backrest or if you don't have the drivers backrest, to a special bracket provided with the speaker kit. I did not use mine so if needed I have one. The large connector plugs to a matching one under the seat. The two smaller ones are the "speaker in" connectors. The longer of the two is for the right side. They feed and are strapped to the saddlebag lock connectors under the side covers, This is where the wires from the speakers will plug in.

I have the same kit just installed on my 2017 chieftain limited and no sound even moving fader, and turned off the auto volume, do i need vcm update for rears to work? I was looking at schematic to figure it out. Not clear on 18 pin molex conector up in fairing, does it need some plug to pass thru signal to rear 18 pin molex under seat?

i am hoping to work on it this weekend and find the non amplified rear signals. it will be up front on the connector going to the amp. i already have a male headphone plug ( from amp under seat i mounted) in the compartment above the ride command. i am going to use a female to the right left rear channel. i will try and post what colors and pins these are on.

I did get mine to work. i found left and right unamplified channels coming out of the ride command and made a small headphone connector male and female that i plug in in the usb console n fairing. this way i use a Fiio headphone amp as a pre amp to the amp under the seat one that comes in the kit . i also can just plug straight in and drive the amp straight. people cant believe the sound . it does turn heads. i have two different FIIO amps
    FiiO E17K Alpen 2 Headphone Amp/DAC
    FiiO A3 Portable Headphone Amp

some things i did notice on the stereo is, the auto volume raising while you ride is done in the amp. The volume is not raised by the stereo in the ride command.

Can you provide any additional detail on how you wired it up to work - I have a 2018 Chieftain Classic and installed (apparently the cheaper kit - Cycle Sounds) with the chrome amp under the seat, and have no sound from the rear speakers at all -
