I am in the middle of building a custom rear end for my 2017 Chieftain Limited. The fender metal work is done, it is painted, just waiting for the clear to dry a couple more days. Its time to start configuring the rear electrical.

I have Custom Dynamics Integrated License Plate frame (with turn signals, brake and license plate light), Dual Color 10" Plasma rods and a Dynamic Load Isolator that I am putting on the bike to replace the rear Indian light setup. Couple of questions:
    1) Will this work, installing the above items and omitting the stock tail light and turn signals?
    2) Do I need to fabricate some type of loop back on the stock tail light and turn signal harness for it to work with the computer?
    3) My goal is to do this without splicing any wires (hence the Dynamic Load Isolator which installs inline with the rear harness) It looks like it will work, but concern is that because I am not using stock harness or lights that I will get some CEL's when the computer looks for signal from the stock tail, brake or turn signal lights.
    4) My plan is to mock install (outside of the bike) the DLI, the Integrated license plate and plasma rods, then unplug rear harness to see if any of this is viable.
    5) If anyone knows of any work-arounds, your comments and advice are appreciated.

    All without splicing any wires?
I was going to suggest you might need a few relays to get the LED's to behave but that would require splicing.
Custom Dynamics has the bullet ringz and the original required a little wiring mod before they had the Smart triple play module. Looks like that eliminates the relays now.
Ask the Custom Dynamics folks. I'm sure they have it all figured out.

Mock install completed. Works perfectly without rear light harness connected, all functions. Now just have to work on routing the harness and mounting fender and license frame. It is damn hot here in PA!!!
