We are just a few days away from EICMA and I wonder if we will see anything from Indian this year. They traditionally do all of their announcements at Sturgis, but I wonder if they have anything up their sleeves.

    Trade /Press Days: November 8-9, 2016 - Consumer Days: November 10-13 , 2016 - Milan, Italy

I know that Ducati is going to pull wraps on a couple of bikes in their Scrambler lineup, and I have a feeling that we will see something from BMW as well.

Maybe something about a street version of the FTR750, or is that just a pipe dream?

    I got this press invite:

They will have their Ride Command system on display as well as the Guy Martin Scout on display.

I keep saying it. I'll say it again. TS111 powered, modern leaf spring front, stripped down cruiser with a shorter wheel base than current models. Or an in line 4 Mac daddy all out performance bike.

Either one of those is a good enough reason for my Springfield to move on to someone else.

I like the way you think and truly wish any of that was it, but I'm betting on a Dark Horse Springfield based on this kind of event.

Knucky, the only thing that caught my eye in @Bobby Jesus post was the 4 inline bit,........now THAT'S what we're talking about! I'd mortgage the house again to get one of them!,......think tank required,........all welcome,........how can I do that without Steph knowing,........I will need a volunteer to say the bike is his but he's just lending it to me,.......yeh,......it could work,.......

Like Your Way of Thinking anyway .. Would definitely like to see something along these lines with a sharper turning radius and better lean angle without having to become a Sport Bike ..

Well if you are having pipe dreams I'd like to see a frame mounted faired 4 cylinder full touring bike that would rival Goldwings. No corners cut. Everything except the kitchen sink. Will never happen but fun to dream.:D

That is exactly what I want. A proper touring bike with frame mounted fairing, smooth and quiet engine, cruise control, ABS, GPS, shaft or belt drive, footpegs located so that it's easy to stand up, a tall sixth gear for the interstate, etc.

I want it to handle well around the trucks on the interstate. It would be nice if it were better than the current Gold Wing in heavy cross winds.

A computerized DCT would be nice as long as I'd have the option to shift manually when I felt like it.

If Indian produced this model, they could sell to all those Gold Wing riders who have been complaining about the lack of upgrades from Honda.

If Indian would create this bike, I'd buy one in year three. I'm sure a lot of folks would take the chance and buy it in year one.

If they did this I might have to go back on my word that this is my last new bike. I know I would get the evil eye from the wife but man that would be hard to pass on. Wonder if Polaris realizes there are a lot of us wanting something to challenge Goldwings?
