Changed the tank sticker. Whadaya think?
I prefer the burlier font-subtle, but better.
I see the differences but I'd be equally happy with either. The satisfaction of do-It-yourself and having something a little unique is understood, though.
Either one,......I would love either one on my tank,.......Are they painted on?
No. They are stickers. The before I got from local sign shop - $25. The after I got off ebay -$9.
I thought I needed to change mine after the anniversary Scout. Look at theirs and mine for the last 3 years.
While you must have some satifaction that the anniversary scout came out looking like yours (imitation is the sincerest form of flattery), I totally get why you now feel the need to change it up again. I also prefer the heavier script.
I do like the bolder look. Looks better now with the shadow.
I like the new one. but I would.
I like the new one better.
It does show you that Indian watches new trends, when I had my 2017 Scout 60, I had an extended warbonnet painted on the tank with a pinstripe, and I used the turn signals from a Victory Octane on it. They copied the warbonnet on the new Bobber and they used the turn signals on the FTR 1200. Keep setting the bar higher for them to match!
Either looks good. Do you clearcoat over the stickers?
No, but I have thought about it. If I clearcoat, though, I couldn't change the sticker if I decide on something else in the future. I do wax over it and there has never been an issue.
Have you checked out @Brave Wolf Customs stuff?
definitely like the new on better.
Yes, I have, but they don't make a chief - only skulls and maidens.
