It is expected very soon that bikes will be produced with a lock out on ever being caught hitting neutral between gears.
The moto gp bikes now have a lever to select neutral when leaving and entering the pit area. this means once you have disengaged neutral position your bike is can never find a false neutral when changing up or down gearbox.
This is expected to make it's way on to open market in the near future.

I enjoy neutral, particularly at stoplights.

I guess you just engage the neutral lever or possible it will be a switch or just happen through the ecu over a certain rev and you wont even notice happen.

Almost sounds like an automatic gearbox with a neutral/"clutch" for stopping.....

Just something else to break. I can’t see any use for this on a street bike. JMHO
