I just got the 30K service on my DH Chieftain. It says that they replaced the fork oil. I went out on some short rides yesterday and the day before. The forks seem like there is no, or very little, compression. It's almost like I'm riding on straight tubes instead of forks. Any little road imperfection is sent straight up to the handlebars and going in and out of my driveway it feels like I am hitting the rim on the front tire.

I've been riding for almost 45 years and have never had anything like this happen before. But then, I've never had a new bike, with a service contract, and I've never really had anything done with the forks on any of my bikes before.

Take it back and ask them to check their work...... overfilled the fork oil....?
    It's worth asking......
Give them a chance to correct (if any) a mistake.
    Let us know the results.

Yes, @IROQUOIS is right. Take it back and have it checked. My fork oil was replaced at 15 and 30K with good results.

Definitely needs to go back to them .. If they overfilled it that will be the easiest to correct .. Hopefully that's it .. Could possibly be a couple other things that won't get into but get it back there ASAP ..

I called them today and, sure enough, they'd overfilled the forks. But now when they said the refilled them to spec, they were too soft. So now they've got a call in to Polaris for their advice. Be middle of next week before I get it back. :{(
