Hard at it. F’n rainy weather isn’t helpful by any
3 layers, finally. I’ll sand and paint in the morning, top coat then flip and start on the inside.
Fiberglass is pretty easy to work but will make you high as a kite.
Ha...I remember the fumes making me light headed. I also remember having a chemical taste in my mouth from breathing the fumes.
So why not a 3rd metal bracelet? Just curious.
Third bracket is attached to the sidecar frame.
Outside fiberglass work is done and the first coat of underbody paint is applied.
One maybe two more coats, then paint the sides.
Then flip it over and fiberglass the inside and paint. Hopefully next weekend it will be finished, but I’m thinking the weekend after.
Started the priming of the bottom side
Your rebuild is going to be better and stronger than stock.
Cream color applied, 4 coats, Top coat applied, 6 coats, primer applied 8 coats.
Finished, all I need to do is reinstall back to the frame tomorrow.
She has a few paint and fiberglass screw ups, nothing I can’t live with. ( not a paint and body man).
I was thinking about this project the other day. Congrats on the finished product.
It’s installed and wired. Almost finished, just need to pick up 3 bolts and nuts tomorrow morning.
Now I might finally get to clean my dirty, nasty cluttered garage!!!!

Took them for a ride this past Sunday. About a 50 mile shakedown cruise to see if all is well. Doesn’t seem to be any problems. Boys said everything seems to be fine from where they’re sitting.
