2012-01-05_15-28-18_143.jpg That's right, after much ado about everything, I just sealed a deal on a 2017 Dark Horse. I'm having them install a set of Black Freedom Performance True Duals with Shark Tail Tips and an Indian AC in Black to stay with the Black Theme and also the Stage 1 Flash. As soon as a Dark Tinted Windshield comes out from KW, I'll put that on. There's a few other things I want but I have to look at the new 2017 Accessories Catalog that just arrived in my mail box. If all works out, I'll drop off the Road King and bring back the Dark Horse next month.

    Bye, bye Mr. RK. :(

IDK what it is,, but I LOVE a story about someone unloading a Hog and getting a new Indian!!!:D;) you won't miss it once you get the Dark Horse I think...;)

In the meantime, If you want a good cheat for your windshield,, you can always go and get some window tint and apply it to it.. I've done that in the past with great results! And it dirt cheap, reversible, and can pick any color or dark ness you want!
    Cheers!
Can't wait to see your new scoot!!

Thanks! This is the last of the 3 HD's that I had and the other 2 are already gone. :) I'll soon be a 2+ Indian Family, including what I have in my blood. :D

Right now I'm taking possession of the DH with no windshield. The normal windshield I would have bought is the lower Dark Tint. I'm going to wear my 3/4 Helmet with a full face shield and drop down sun visor for the time being. When I ride with the club it will be with my half helmet and giant goggles, face mask, etc. I'm excited about getting it. :D

Thanks @RED IRON, Why the heck would someone be buying a new ride in October in Montana? We aren't far from being "S'd" on here in town. As long as I can get to Sturgis coming and going and then make it home, then all is good. Last night a club Brother offered up his enclosed MC Trailer for me to use. There's a number of reasons why I did the same thing last year. I'm thinking of doing some fun stuff with it so no better place than in my Heated Bike Building/Man Cave to start playing around. Besides I can get some break in miles done (I hate this) and when the Spring riding season gets here, my DH will be here to ride.

Right now it looks like a tornado went through my building. Yes @sidecarsam, it is a bigger mess in there. When you get back it should be pretty squared away. I'll invite you over for Chocolate Milk while I have Coffee. :D Just remind me because I'll probably forget.

The nice thing about getting rid of the last HD is all the goodies I can get rid of with it. I'll have so much room I won't know what to do. I think I'll have an open house with Club Brothers first to see what they want and the balance can go in Ebay with my friend. :D:D

That's what the wife said. She's :(ing but realizes the reasoning behind it. Then she said maybe in a couple of months it will be easier to sell an Indian than it was an HD. Whaaaaaat?

That's a FUNNY (funny strange, not Funny Haha) thing to say. I always thought my wife was supportive of my motorcycle habit :) - and for the most part she is - but one day we were talking , I can't remember about what, and she pops up with "Oh you and your DAMN Motorcycles!" I have No idea where that came from. That was a couple years ago and I still wonder what it was about.

FUNNY @Hatt. We're going on a quarter century that we've been married. I have my money and she has hers, she spends on what she wants and I do the same. Neither of us can tell the other what to buy and this is how its been for over 24 years.

My wife put a lot of miles on this bike and has some good memories. I told her I would put the Chieftain back to a full Touring Machine with the Trunk in place so that made her happy. I don't know if she heard me say when I feel like getting around to it.

Just found out a few minutes ago that the 2017 Dark Horse I ordered is not being released by Polaris. Trying to find out when that will be. I'm heading that way in less than a week, so crap.

Maybe shipping was another word that could be used, meaning they are not shipping any 17 DH's. IDK

I've checked 5 out of state dealers and there are no 2017 Dark Horses to be had. This includes Charlotte & Daytona.
