I will be riding for two causes in this years HokaHey Motorcycle Challenge. www.hokaheychallenge.com This thread is part of my effort to raise some coin for those causes. The two causes are, 1) Yavapai County Stand Down, which is put on by USVets. An organization which provides a wide range of services to Veterans. This link highlights their annual event from 2017. They have not put up an announcement for this year. Yavapai County Stand Down – U.S.VETS | United States Veterans Initiative 2) The Comanche tribe that is hosting the Challenge this year. I’ve decided to make the N8V generation my Tribal charity. Here is a link to their Facebook page. N8V Generation The money I raise here and through other Venues will be evenly divided between the two Here is how my pledge system works. You will, through this thread, pledge whatever amount per mile you like for my highest mileage day of the Challenge. You can pledge a fraction of a cent or whatever you choose. Every day at a yet to be determined time I will post a photo of my Odometer. At the end of the Challenge, my highest mileage day (24 hour period) multiplied by the amount of your pledge will determine the amount of your donation. As an example say you pledge one penny per mile and my highest mileage day is 957 miles. Your donation would be $9.57. Again, your pledge per mile amount is whatever you feel comfortable with and is only for my highest mileage day, be it a penny a mile or $19.99 a mile it is totally up to you. EDIT...Once the challenge is completed, I will provide the addresses of the recipients and you can send your donations directly to each one. Thank you in advance for your generous support.
