Thinking of making switch from stock to the mid rise bars. Would love any feedback from riders who have made the change. Thank you.

I have them on my Chieftain and will never have anything else from now on.
My back, shoulders and hips can ride farther than without the mid rise.
Keep in mind that these will change your whole riding position. Highway pegs had to be moved, backrest had to be adjusted.

You'll love the height increase, but for the money, you can get MUCH more stylish options. Check out: Trask Performance, KST, and holler at @dennisontwowheels at Klok Werks for their badassery.

I have 16" Indian apes on our Vintage....and like them a lot....love the look too. My right hand does go numb once in a while ...so I just put the cruise control on and lower my arm for a few minutes.

Been toying with the idea of mid rise on the RM and love the look...but not sure I want to sacrifice the wind coverage the fairing provides my hands for cold weather riding.

Kst kustoms out of Georgia are good people and they make different height bars to keep your hands just below the windshield

I've never seen Indian bars by KST but I wanted a set of their "bully" model. Trask Performance has a set that looks just like them. That's what I went with

I went with the Dirty Bird Stampede mid rise bars and love them. Full up will get your knuckles in the wind. I was able to adjust these down a bit to get my hands out of the wind and give me a better riding stance. You can see in the bottom pic how much I adjusted the bars down to accomplish this. Very comfortable especially for taller riders. Dean

I have them on my '17 Roadmaster. Greatly improved my mobility in parades and Shriner Motor Patrol Competition FB_IMG_1569251149049.jpg

Hey welcome aboard Buddy! Great big big sister you got there,........and from looking at your arm position would I be correct in saying the new bars allowed you have a greater bend at your elbow?,......This would have reduced the strain of tight turns with straighter arms yeah?,.......I have just fitted a set of helibars to my Scout for the same reason,....to get away from the straight arm riding and into a bent arm and more relaxed position for riding.

Enjoy the ride Buddy and enjoy the forum which has a great group of guys and girls all willing get advice as well as take the mickey but I expect you got broad shoulders huh?:p:D,

This is my issue too. One of the salesman at the dealer told me that a set of 2014 Chieftain bars will raise your hands about an inch and a half from the stock RM bars. I am considering giving it a try.
