Due to weather issues.. I'm headin south this weekend.. Should end up somewhere near Lubbock Texas.. maybe farther south? Should get there saturday night.. leave sunday evening.. or monday morning?

Never been there.. don't have a clue..

What are some good roads in the area.. Good watering holes.. Anything motorcycle related happening there this weekend?

Any info would be a help.. Just hate riding somewhere and finding out that I missed something worth doing or seeing..

Disclaimer.. Last year I was heading to NM.. and ended up at Thunder in the Rockies..

If you end up 120 miles south of Lubbock at Midland, I can promise you a bed and a trip through the Petroleum Museum.
Mexican food abounds in this area..... I'm good for meal or two!
NOTHING in the way of good roads in the Lubbock or Midland area.
We're are right in the center of the best roads in Texas..... 150 miles in any direction will get you to them! :)

PM me for a phone number if your coming!

Well if you are a military or Vietnam vet you might want to stop at the CHRIS KYLE and PERMIAN BASIN VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIALS. If in the Midland/Odessa area. But as stated, not any good roads in the area and just hope you don't hit wind. It can get brutal out that way.

Thanks, ndncowboy I had forgotten all about them.
Both are wonderful displays..... 4 or 500 bikes (maybe more ?) left this area just days ago after stopping here on their way East.....

    Thanks for the input...

Because of the total distance (2000 miles) in 3 days.. we will have to delay our trip until I can get more time off..

Military stuff is always good..!!! (I'm a Marine Vet)

Not sure where I will ride to now.. but know I will be riding..
