I'm sure this is pretty basic but I have been searching without any answers.

I want to relocate to a side mount but are there any options to do this without cutting any electrical wires?

It's required here to have the plate lit up however after previous experiments with my car I just really don't want to cut any wiring at all.

    Is this possible?

Follow the licese plate light wiring down to where it has a connector. The wiring runs behind the fender rail. Disconnect the connector then re route once you have your side mount sorted.

    Suade, where are you located?

I was directed here by another member. I make a vertical plate mount that uses all the OEM side fender mount hardware and light for the US model Bobber. From the sound of it, you might have the non-US version that extends out over the rear tire. If that is the case, you can by the US version hardware (see below) to move the plate to the side and keep your factory light. You can get the factory plate mount (item 6 below) that would keep the plate horizontal or my plate mount to turn it vertical (if allowed by local regulations). Nearly all of mine have been for the US market, but I have done one for a Canadian Bobber.

I'm in St Louis and would love to have that vertical mount.
