:sunglasses:Hey Guys and Girls, Dennis from Klock Werks here! I would like to hear your thoughts and ideas on which components you would like to have if you could build the Indian Scout of your dreams. Paint color, wheels, exhaust, handlebars, seats, you name it!!

    We are building two Scouts:

    The Klassic #34 (old-school) and the Outrider #4 (new-school)

Hey!,....what's everybody pointing the bone at me for?!!! What'd I do?!!

    But, now you have,

    Big bore kit
Enlarged fuel tank, ( guy on here and the alternative universe does them)
    Helibars but stretched back further.
Lowered seat, I mean LOWERED! A shaped aluminium seat with thin memory foam and leather cover. Back rest to suit.
Healtech gear indicator if the bike don't have one ( old school first run bikes)
Dark Scout suspension front and rear.
    Hyperlites for the brakes
Rage 360 front strut LED indicators with tiny ones on the back with Joker Machine adapters to hide the holes.
    Memphis Shades ruby red screen.
    Twin Piaa two tone horns,.........
Colour? You'll be surprised,....lime green with Indian markings as a tribute to the very first Victory Hammer, the almost bought bike of my life, the one I regret, the one that got away,.......

Hmmmmm,..........seems I just put down the best of what I've had and would still like on my two Scouts, ( RIP Vin 296 )
    Alpal

    Ok,......whose next?,.......

I'd like a full-on touring Scout. Fixed fairing, hard bags, center stand, and a ten gallon fuel tank. Solo seat is OK.

Interesting that this came out now had almost $18,000 into this one making it pretty much like I wanted .. Suspension being a hard hit plus Tuning the PVCX when it first came out but it moved right along .. Got a decent trade it when bought the Chieftain Dark Horse but still lost a bundle .. But with no extended warranty offered because of the way it was modded and engine was rebuilt at 13,000 MIles was just nervous about it and decided to take the loss on the trade as really didn't want to have to fix anything major on my own dime .. But had a lot of fun miles on it .. It was never beat by another Scout, but at that time they were doing no real power mods except several versions of Stage 1's .. With my K&N High Flow A/C and Bassani 2:1s was about as good as you could get at that time with acceptable looks as well ..

You guys are getting after it!! I love the ideas on the bikes so far. Now would you rather see contrast cut wheels or solid black for the scout build?

Well there’s a mental image of a scout I don’t want to forget! That victory hammer was a super nice machine, tons of power whenever you wanted it.

Nope. The thread asked what I'd like to see on a Scout. That's what I'd like to see. (rolls eyes, etc.)

AlPal . . . there has been a considerable amount of sexual humor on the forum and some outright vulgarity, and I haven't seen you raise an eyebrow (except once when you did -- quite rightly -- mildly object when someone misspoke a little, got personal, and then quickly apologized.) Then I make a couple of wisecracks that are mildly sexual but not vulgar, and you're offended. That makes me think what offends you is that you think I'm making fun of Scouts. While I didn't intend, or anticipate, that I'd offend anyone, I do not make a religion out of, or define myself with or by, motorcycling in general or by one particular model of one brand.

However, as a aloe for sensitive skin, I'll desist.
