Getting a New Indian Dealer on the Illinois side of the river (from St Louis).
MetroEast Motorsports will be a Indian Dealer when the building is complete. Sounds like soon. Sure would shorten my drive for service on the Springfield.

    Amen Brother!
The previous ownership sold out which was a Victory, Polaris, Kawasaki dealer.
Im for certain of the Indian Dealership but unaware of any other brand they may sell. I think they may continue the Polaris, Kawasaki sales since the Indian building is separate from the old building.
We'll see I guess. I'll keep folks posted as things develop.
    EXCITED!

You'll need to update the list of dealerships in the US.

True, but it doesn't do a damn bit of good for us in Montana. We're still without one and no word from PI what their doing about the promised dealership. Wyoming is in the same shape as us. I get guys all the time saying they'd buy one if there was a dealer around. These are people that have done test rides and spoke highly of that test ride. I'm about ready to tell people that if they are fed up with HD, they may consider something other than Indian. :(

I have to agree with you .. Not sure how to do it, but think need to grab Polaris by the horns and also need to find someone with the Big Coin it takes to Risk starting a Dealership .. It's Not Cheap to Open an Indian Franchise and if it does not become a success can lose your ass ..

No details when they're suppose to open.
Just have the Indian sign hung on the building at this point.

I hear ya Jay. We don't have an HD dealer in town but there are 4 dealers within 115 miles of my house and numerous Indies here too. You can't even get a tire changed in town, so we travel 297 miles for that.

Surprised you don't have an Indy to do Tire Work anyway .. I have one Locally that will change tires on any Bike Made if you can supply a Factory Service Manual .. This guy is a Real Wizard .. Why throw some business his way now and then so don't lose his talent .. Some come from 500 miles away just to Ultilize his Expertise ..

Got 2 Indian Dealers within 50 minutes ride of me and another 5 within 2½ hours of me here in the Texas Hill Country.

Think Polaris should put some in the States without any first then fill out the areas where they are few in between.

Are these dealerships independently owned, corporate owned or a combination of both?

I am pretty sure that all the Indian/Polaris Dealerships are independently owned - I don't know of Any Corporate owned.

Well it's up to the entrepreneur to infiltrate State's like Wyoming, Montana etc. Hope it happens. Theirs obvious interest in seeing that happen.

So have I and it seems like there's some ears that really don't give an RA. MT & WY, everyone wants to ride here, but no one wants to open a dealership here. I think someone like a Vern Eide should at least open some Satellite dealerships in Montana and Wyoming. Even if people buy from his larger dealerships in Sioux Falls or Sturgis they could at least get work done, buy kits, accessories and have a few bikes on hand. Damn, someone needs to get off their ass and get it done.
