$60 on Ebay for rear crash bars

$325 for paint & labor to repair two small scrapes on the bottom of my right saddlebag.

    Lesson learned.

I hope the ones you purchased protrude farther out than mine to protect the saddlebags.
My saddlebags still got scratched up on the bottom from laying mine over right when I stopped.
A quarter/half inch spacer where they attach to the bike would make a big difference.

I still have some blue left from when I did the sissy bar on my Chief. I feel confident that I’ll have it right there beside me and remember to apply it just after I tighten down the last bolt.

Been there. Hate that. On the less frustrating side, you made me laugh.

I got my ChiCom crash bars. As the quality o’ the Chinee product would have it, the right side was about 1/16th of an inch off. My nephew came up with the great idea of using a ratchet strap to bend it down a little, and it worked! Even though it was a little bit of a pain to get them on, I’m happy to have them and feel much better “just in case”.
