Neat little motorcycle's made in Indiana. Have that old school look.
Might be all right for some, but for the price would pass on this one .. Doubt ever see me me on less than 1200 CC with what riding time I have left ..
It would be great for folks that lives in the city. Great alternative to the electric bike & scooter craze that's going on.
Be nice for campgrounds too.
The Earles fork lives! Sassy looking bikes -- very properly British. Suppose if I were Jay Leno I'd get myself one.
Cool looking bike,.....
I think those Janus bikes look really cool. But I'm not sure they'd be very practical.
For a practical single, I'm considering adding one of these to my garage:
2019 Super Cub C125 ABS - Honda Powersports
With the saddlebags added, the Halcyon looks like it would be nice for commuting back and forth to work. The Gryffin looks like it would be nice on the local Kentucky back roads. I don't think the Phoenix would work for more than half an hour for me. The seating is a bit hunkered over the bars.
British look is right. Royal Enfield type of look.
(I think Royal Enfield is a India company now)
They're kind of cool. I could see one as a commuter bike.
Way to expensive for a bike with an off the self Chinese engine.
Cool looking but yeah, too much for what one is getting. I like the Honda Cub also and the Monkey looks like a ton of fun for thousands less.
Is the Chinese engine a POS?
From what I hear, that Chinese motor is very durable and easy to work on. Parts are easy to come by as well.
It's basically a knock-off Honda motor.
I'd rather have a dependable "off the shelf" than an unproven new design.
They are really expensive looked at them several years ago when the styling was a little different.
Janus is offering a bigger bike in the near future.
Janus Goes Large With The New Halcyon 450
They are neat little bikes. Be great for someone who can't handle the big boys anymore due to age, injuries, cancer, etc. That way they can stay in the wind a little while longer! OK, I gotta confess, I love anything with two wheels and a motor. lol
I love the look of this bike. I believe it will sell.
I agree. I think going to a 450 will make a huge difference.
