Me and a Brother of mine were out ROCKIN pretty hard on the scoots yesterday. Him a 19 limited me on my 18. At about 108 I started to just walk away from him. When we stopped I said what’s up ? He said man right at 108 this front end starts to float like right before a high speed tank slapper starts so I backed out a bit. Tire pressure is right. The only thing I can come Up with was the fairing design similar to HD and not as aerodynamic as mine. I’ve had that experience on my Harleys oh to many times thru the many years on them. Anybody else get that at high speeds with the Newer HD style fairings ? He said he put a grip on it to try and roll thru it but NG

    No issues here. ChiefGlide runs.

My 111 would not exceed 119mph and was steady. My 116BBK is planted at 110 but vibrates like a pissed off coin operated motel bed. That cam is a lumpy MFer.

Ya know what Baldhead I assumed he was stock other then pipes and breather. But I’m gonna ask him if he’s cammed also. Who knows mite be something to it. I told him next time out we’re gonna swap. But I’ve heard of others say with that newer fairing they float out at about 110. We will see

Are tires balanced to accommodate that type of speed?

Tires are balanced or they're not, but I get why you're asking.

    Tires are speed rated, however.

I’m thinking Iroquois if they weren’t he’d have issues with them long before 110 mph. But I get it. As I mentioned I’ve read on other forums guys mentioned this issue since they went to the new fairing. But @Baldhead_J says his was rock solid before cams. All my Harley baggers except my RoadGlide did this. It was acceptable we knew the high speed and Batwing fairings were the issue. There was a stabilizer brace you could mount from the tranny to the crank which helped some What some time back. I’m gonna climb on it next weekend and see what it’s like. I’ll talk to him during the week lol if I remember about his cams if any.

To be clear, my cam doesn't induce wobble or speed instability. It's just a big vibrator.
