Greetings from Oregon, I see your another HD convert over to Indian. Nice Indian you have there iamandrew. What made you decide to get an Indian?
#1. size, 1200cc is enough motor for me but the frame was too small #2. the cool factor - let's be honest, the looks you get is pretty cool. it's pretty cool sitting at my favorite brewery and hearing people say how cool that bike is, etc. and have no idea the young guy that owns it is sitting right there.
Yeah I get the cool factor, one of the reasons I sold my FLTR Road Glide and got this Cheiftian Darkhorse. I get a lot of comments. There are some drawbacks, lack of dealers, lack of accessories. But the cool factor and features, the ride out ways the bad shit. The problem I am having is getting a consistent oil level reading. Seems to be a prevalent issue with the 111.
the lack of dealers and aftermarket aren't really a bother to me. but i do understand that it is for others. beautiful bike!
I’m guessing Brewdog if you’re in Canal. We’ll have to get together sometime. I was fortunate enough to meet @Baldhead_J and hang out with him Christmas Eve.
Actually my favorite is Hoof Hearted but I never ride there because I drink too much of their beer. But I love riding out to Buckeye Lake Brewing with my family. Not a fan of Brewdog but I'll drink something they've got. With a 2 year old and one on the way, I'm spotty on availability but I'm sure we can get together!
Yes, the weather is getting there. I'm hoping to ride this afternoon depending on how the roads look. We had a little mix of rain and snow yesterday. I don't think ODOT put more salt down. @RoadmasterD is also up here in NE Ohio. Hopefully, he will join in.
Hi everyone, I'm close to Aargow, we met at the motorcycle show last year. Wadsworth city put brine down! Clear everywhere else.
I didn't get out today. Despite the rain this week, the roads still looked white and salty. Soon, I hope.
If you saw my post on the electric bikes, I'm heading up to Cleveland Moto Saturday, they got that new model Zero in. You should give it a chance, it's eye opening. Might check out the Triumph dealer down the street too, love the new Rocket 3.
That sounds like fun. I can't see myself buying one until graphene batteries are available and even then...not likely. I would like to ride one.
Here's an idea: Indianrider.net Ohio riders first annual ride. When: Saturday, June 6th, 2020. Where: Meet at the McDonalds in Woodfield, Ohio at 10 am. What: There are four good loops out of Woodsfield. We should have time to do at least two of them. Plan on lunch at Marv's Place in Sardis. Who: All are welcome. Edit: Date
Congratulations! I totally understand. The March 28th date was just a suggestion and probably a bit risky considering our typical spring weather. How about sometime in June? By then, your new-born should have you thoroughly sleep-deprived.
