    That's wild.

I hope Indian Mo Co is paying attention.

Put this bike in a museum.

    Congratulations. I'm really impressed.

Thanks Notaharley ! This bike just don’t know when to quit,,,,,,,, and neither does it’s owner ! LOL ! I think I’ll have the wheel bearings replaced next tire change, last time was 200,000 miles ago. Larry

    Dang!
I was always told new wheel bearings every 30-40k!

I came from Victory and always hoped Indian motors could go the distance, like the Vic engines.

I'm really impressed with your bike --- the plastic can tensioner has held up....and other plastic parts that are internal which were initially criticized.

I never had a HD that had fork bearings that lasted, let alone other parts.

    To build on @Notaharley ....
the cam chain tensioner has been updated twice. @Lake City Larry .. have you replaced yours?
I've kicked it around but haven't acted.
    Your thoughts..

I have not replaced it yet, but have plans to have it looked at when winter comes. I just don’t hear anything wrong,,,,,,,,,it doesn’t sound any different than when it was new ! No extended warranty anymore so I’m running on luck and faith,,,,,, and I do have a lot of faith ! E91A98B6-1AB7-4415-AD3C-DE99A51BACD3.jpeg

After a recent daily ride, I noticed the repeating numbers on the odometer and thought it would make a cool pic for everyone to enjoy ! Recently my wife had total knee replacement surgery so my rides are much shorter and less often until her mobility and pain improves. Progress is slower than most since she also has neuropathy in her feet, but she is determined and also has a good 24 hr nurse that goes by the name of Lake City Larry ! Hope your wife is doing better.

I ride your neck of the a lot. Question I wanted to ask is has your clutch cable ever been replaced? I have a '16 Chieftain & recently mine broke almost through the intersection . Took it dealership and the parts aren't available. Would there be an aftermarket you may know of? I have approximately 57,320 miles on my Chieftain (I bought 6/17/17).

You can try calling other large dealerships to see if they have any in their inventory. That’s how I got my front brake rotor this last spring. My clutch cable broke at 150,000 miles and since then I have it replaced every other year. Always have your cable lubed at least twice a year to help ease the strain on the cable. They are expensive like all parts, good luck in your hunt as this is a known weak spot on the early models. Larry Swenson
