    Quick edit:
    I just did a quick calculation and by my reckoning, Larry and his trusty steed have done nearly 50 laps of Australia (our Highway 1). That is simply amazing . . .

    Thanks John ! I thought it would be fun to show everyone a couple of articles from years ago ( 1993 & 2003 ) that appeared in Yamaha and Suzuki magazines that were sent only to the dealers and not the general public. Back then there was internet, but not used extensively like today ! I did screenshots of the front page and of the articles but they are somewhat blurred due to the high gloss pages.     My goodness @Lake City Larry you have spent more time on 2 wheels than a vast majority of people do on 4 wheels.

    The last sentence in the above article says it all about riding for the fun of riding ! When I first started riding it was always about where am I going to,,,,,,,,,,,,,,as the years went by destinations just didn’t hold much importance anymore,,,,,,,,and that’s when the miles started increasing because the joy of riding was more fun than reaching a destination ! Long trips through bad weather on unfamiliar roads in heavy traffic almost made me quit riding when I was young,,,,,,,,,until I found the core of my enjoyment was riding to NOWHERE !! Larry

    My wife ask me all the time..... where we going? I just shrug my shoulder's 75% of the time. Basically decide.....north, south, east or west when we're riding locally.

    I guess it’s time,thanks for asking Iroquois ! I took this pic just tonight by special request ! The miles are starting out slow this year due to the cold and wet weather,,,,,,,,,,and getting older doesn’t help either. Is there any rattling or knocking going on ? Yes, but it just won’t quit !     Our weather was the same @Lake City Larry . Farmers are 5-6 weeks behind getting things planted.
    Hands of time is catching up to all of us. I hope you and the Chieftain can get more road time in soon.

    With time I've found your statement to be completely and absolutely true. Your energy gauge is not in empty when you've done a lot of stuff, it's empty when you've been sitting around doing nothing!

    It's amazing how many miles you're piling up. At this rate, your odometer will eventually run out of digits!
