when the 116 kit came out they quoted me about $2000 - $3000 more than other dealers

I asked why it was I could go to a dealer that had not sold me two bikes in one night like they did and get a better deal

they didn’t care. Not until I did a big rant on here then they reached out to try and work a deal

Indian is gone and Dayton will never sell me another anything period
    They also own Ocala

Wow. That’s pretty crappy. I don’t blame you.

Anyone here have experience with Dream Machines in Wichita, Ks. It's a long shot but I thought I would ask here since there is already a thread started. I see their google reviews are mostly positive but with 130 only. I did read them all but wouldn't trust so few to not be loaded with shills.

There's only 4 Indian shops in Burtland and I know of two of them,.....one I will never deal with again and one that I have dealt with since returning to Burtland in1995. Wellington Motorcycles were the premier Harley dealer back then and where I bought my first Intruder, a 1989 VS700, amazingly NOT red but blue. They changed from Harley to Indian somewhere round 2015 or 16 after Harley proved to be awkward regarding the sale of anything non-Harley in the shop,.....The owners told Harley they no longer wanted to be Harley dealers and that was that.

What I have always liked is the friendly approach of the staff whether you are in there to buy or just chew the fat. Another thing I like is that they keep you up to date with info,.....they re in lockdown currently but still send out emails to their customers keeping them up to date on events. I got an email just the other day stating they would still remain shut during level 3 here,.....Strikes me they put the customer first,.......The other dealer I know, Cyclespot in Auckland could learn a lot from them,.....

This is kind of an old thread, but Route 66 Indian (part of iMotorsports) have been great so far for me. I had the check engine light turn on late on a Saturday night, heading home with the wife on the back. I showed up at their place about when they opened on Monday, without any notice (call; email; nothing), and they fit me right in.

I would like to brag about my dealer in Worcester Massachusetts. Wagner’s Powersports. I shopped a couple dealers while shopping for my 21’RM. these guys really stood out. I was able to negotiate a little with them. Their Sales guy Don was fabulous. The entire buying experience was great.
So you think big deal right, they sold me an expensive bike and was nice about it. It doesn’t end there. I had the stage 2 cam and exhaust installed before delivery. Oh yeah, they came and picked up my trade and delivered my new bike free. They are close to 100miles away. So I find there is an issue with the way it’s running after putting 90 miles on it. I understand these things happen. Bike throws a misfire Code. I called at 10am Saturday. 3 hrs later they rerouted their delivery driver to come from the other side of the state to pick it up. 3 hours from the time I called. Who does that kind of service!? I’m very happy I passed up the dealer that’s just 35 miles away for these guys. No regrets here. Service Manager is suspecting the tune they flashed. They open back up tomorrow (Tuesday). He wanted the bike there for first thing in the morning. I won’t be surprised if they deliver it back to me in the afternoon.
I recommend these guys to anyone in the area.

I'll start with first impressions of my local dealer, Motorcycles of Dulles.

Way back when I was looking for a different bike (a few years ago), the sales staff couldn't give a damn that I was even there. Not spending $10k+? Don't bother.

Stopped by not much later because I had limited choices to actually _try on_ winter gear. Accessory sales tried to steer me straight to KLIM - $550 for a pair of overpants? No thanks. I ended up rolling the dice on a full set of heated winter gear online and lucked into everything fitting the first time around.

The service department, though - they really came through for me so far. I bought the wife's 2016 Springfield knowing it needed lowered, and how much it'd cost. Called them up to confirm, and stopped by to set up the appointment. They were nice enough to come out and give a 5 minute look-over, assessed all the bits especially the safety side. Got me hooked up with the right part, and saved $100 by adding $40 worth of accessories to the purchase (Thanks, Polaris!)

Seeing as service was the very top of the list of things that got me to switch from Jeep to Ford, I think they've earned my business. YMMV

    Best,
    -Odin

My dealer will never get another penny from me! I will take my bike to another dealer 1 hour away.
