Just stopped by to reply to Alpal.
How the rest of you miscreants doin'?
Glad to see you still fogging the glass! Doing well here....a very welcome life change occurring..... Stay well!
Damn ya......stop in more often.
Yeah zip, what Iroquois said, stop in more often.
I hope all is well.
We're being miscreanty. Why do you hate us?
Good to hear! I'd try to "stay well" but I'd have to "be well" first, wouldn't I? Gotta work on that part.
I would, but I haven't thrown a leg over in nearly a year and don't really feel like I "belong" so to speak. I guess I really don't fit in anywhere anymore. Oh well.
Geez, guys! You're gonna make me start thinkin' somebody could actually "like" me for some weird reason. I know that can't be right!
Good to hear you're still miscreanty, J! I hate you all because I'm a hater. I hate everyone and everything equally - an equal opportunity hater!
But seriously, hating takes way too much energy, and my energy reserves are pretty much tapped out at this point. There's not enough left over for hating. Can I strongly dislike you guys instead? That sounds a lot less energy consuming to me. Whaddaya say?
Deal.... just let it out here... promise...
Fuq U, we miss you is what I say!
@Zipperhead Frankenberry ,.....All you are and ever will be is a biker and thus you belong on here,.......So you're currently not biking at the moment,........as I recall that was me for the best of two years only just recently,.....
Hey Stranger .. Good to see you Post Up ..
As for not throwing a leg over a bike in a while, I am sorry, and understand why you might not want to hang out here in this forum. But you still belong as far as I am concerned. Probably more than I do.
Stop thinking we actually like you, we just missed you, dont get them confused.... LOL.
My momma always said dont be a hater, so heavy dislike works for me.
In all seriousness, I do hope you heal up soon.
Dont ever give up hope.....hope is about all some of us have.
If our paths ever cross, first round is on me.
I'll try not to "let it out" too much.
That's the J I remember! Fuq U and I've missed you and all the rest of ya's.
You're right Al. I just have to figure out if I want to throw a bunch of money at greedy medical "specialists" who don't give a F__k about anything but how much cash they can rape my bank accounts for, or trike out my Chief and at least be able to ride something.
And that's another thing! I heard Indian brought out another Chief model and segregated the Vintage as it's own model. Am I still allowed to occasionally refer to the Green Beast as "Chiefie Weefy" or should I come up with something else like Mintage Vintage? (It's "almost" a mintish kinda green.)
I'm leaning heavily toward triking because I have zero trust in our healthcare system after the last neurologist I went to in order to explore the possibility of a CSF leak post tumor resection and they decided to play CYA for their neurosurgeon buddies instead of taking me seriously.
Now the headaches from hell are making a resurgence and there's no way I can 1.) afford another brain surgery or 2.) trust a medical "specialist" in any way.
Hey Jay! Hope all is well in your world.
Deal! You had me worried for second with the whole "liking" thing. Thanks for settin' me straight!
Nuerologists.....They're more expensive than a trike and way less therapeutic. The good ones are surgeons.
Wise words right there!
Last time out with the neurosurgeons ran me about $35k. Looking at trike kits, they seem to be running in the $10k-$15k range.
I think the decision has just been made. Thanks J!
There you go, some great wisdom from the forum within the first couple of days of returning. There's some real value straight up!!
Hoping things work out for you @Zipperhead Frankenberry - be they medical and/or motorcycle. I always like reading your thoughts about the various topics raised here.
All the best and good to see you back!
Awesome seeing you here.
Thank you, Sir Poopalot! I've been dealing with a lot of crap in my life ... betrayals and backstabbings and other fun and exciting things of that nature. SS/DD. It has forced me to completely change my outlook and attitude about people. I used to be open and giving, always willing to step in and lend a hand, but I tend to get used and tossed instead of appreciated and respected, so now it's one and done. Fuck me over once and I'm done with ya for life. Period. It's time for me to get selfish and start doing shit for me instead of for people who just don't give a fuck.
Thank you Bobby J! It's good to be "back" (in more ways than one).
Well.... I never had a problem with you and liked your imput and music that you graced our ears with. Sorry about all the medical shit, it is not a easy pill to swallow. Medical has gotten to expensive, and to drawn out for me. After Woolys cancer treatment of three years I have very little tolerance for doctors, nurses (and my mother was one) and people. I have become that grumpy witch in the old house that all the kids talk about. You guys joke about the old guy with the water hose... I am that old witch with the flame thrower...
Glad to see you back and i dont care that you are not riding a Indian you still belong here... ( even if you are not out chacing the wind).
Thank you Gina. I hope the Wooly Man is doing well and all is good in your world.
Point the flame thrower just a bit further to the left, if you would? Thanks!
I actually had a tune hit #1 on the rock charts and another took #1 on the acoustic charts over on Soundclick a few weeks ago. That was kinda cool. I picked up a keyboard a few months ago and am teaching myself to play it. It'll be a nice change from just guitar/bass/drums. Even have a couple new tunes in the primordial stages with keys. Maybe that's what I'll work on during the imminent "Snowmageddon" that's supposed to swoop down on us tomorrow and hang out until Sunday.
You are a number one hit around here Buddy!,...........me? ,......I just get hit,......
