Some of you might know me, and some might not. My name is NickJ as you can see by my little user name over there. You may recognize it from a site or two, but this is a new one. IndianRider.net is brand spankin' new and is going to be a great place to hang out once we get rolling here.

I promise you that I will get you all of the news and info that I possibly can from my connections with Indian Motorcycle. I have been covering Indian for the last few years and have gotten to ride almost every bike in the Indian Lineup. I have been posting reviews on Indian Motorcycles since 2014 and even crash testing gear.

I have built two Indian Scouts thus far. My buddy and I built the Black Hills Beast and my daily rig is my Scarlett bike, which is a stripped down bobber with a girder front end.

I love this brand and cannot wait to share with you what I have coming down the pipeline.

I hope that those who are they haven't oversold me.

I am going to try my damndest to make sure this place has the most up to date information, news, and rumors. I am as far up the flagpole as it goes this time and I promise that this place is going to be cared for and loved. Not just another property in a portfolio.

Thanks Nick for getting this rolling. I was getting frustrated with the other site and I can see we have a good cross section of members so far. Cheers to those who signed up and lets make this a much better forum than...

Yes!!! Thank you guys so much.

I am so happy to see you guys over here. It is super encouraging to see some familiar faces.

@RBinTEX, I'm going to be headed through your neck of the woods (ATX to ABQ) on Scarlett early next week. I was planning a direct route to knock it out, but aren't you along the more southerly route?

I'm in Midland, how close will you be, I live a 1/4 mile North of Interstate 20..

Very easy to find only one turn off the Interstate. Let me know, I'm good for a meal if your inclined.
By ATX do you mean Austin (?) to Albuquerque? Not familiar to ATX.

But all that aside, a direct route from Austin to Albuquerque would probably take you through Abilene that is about 150 miles East of me, but you would also go through Lubbock which is about 120 miles North of me.

If I haven't got ATX right let me know and I can re-figure your direct route.

Yep. I am headed from Austin to Albuquerque.

I am pretty familiar with that area as I lived (loving refer to it as "did time") in Snyder. My route takes me through Snyder and then Lubbock. I think I'm leaving on Monday morning and trying to knock a lot out. Want to meet up for some lunch or something?

@RBinTEX , wish I had known that I was driving( not riding) through there yesterday afternoon. Would have liked to meet you in the real world.

It wouldn't be that far to Snyder from Midland to meet up, but Monday is the first of the month and I have to go to the DMV to get license plate renewals for the police car and the Silverado.
I have procrastinated (sign of my old age) and have not even got the inspection stickers done yet and today and Monday will be tied up getting this all done. I hate the new system Texas has for Inspection and license plates..... they did not even send out the usual reminders for license renewal.

My bike is down for maintenance right now and it is the only thing with tags that I could drive Monday.

I'm embarrassed that we could be this close and I couldn't go visit even for a few minutes.

    Oh SNAP!
I thought I felt a disturbance in the Force..... very disappointed that we missed the visit.
I'm sure that I would have been delighted to meet you!
Now that you know where I am...... well, you know!

Dang it! So what you are saying is that you have to wash your hair that night? Haha!

Well, if it works out, that would be awesome.

If they had just sent out renewal notices on either vehicle this would not have happened.
Monday unless I renew, I wont have a legal vehicle to drive.
I wouldn't even have noticed if it hadn't been for my son pointing it out yesterday late after inspection stations closed.

Just drive your truck and wear that Bandit helmet because you are an outlaw. :)

No worries. I will check with you on Monday.

There is a remote chance that I can get through DMV today, but I wont count on it.
If it all works out, I can meet you in Snyder at the white buffalo statue downtown.
it is only 88 miles away!

@NickJ, I have worked out a major part of it today, but I may have to show up in the police car and it doesn't have a cruise control and is tiring on a trip.
Still not 100% sure, but do keep me informed on how we can meet in Snyder Monday.... remembering I'm 88 miles away probably need two hours notice on a meeting time.
