I saw this stuff on Amazon and read some Dark Horse rider reviews. Have any of y'all used it?
Not yet. I've only washed my DH twice since I bought it in Feb '16. If you or anyone tries it and likes it, let us know! I'll try it next year...er.. next time I wash my ride.
Ive never used that, but this is what I use:
Well. Okay, then. Is it meant for use on matte finishes? I soitenly don't wanna shine up what don't need shinin'! One of the promos for the DH said "Less time cleaning, more time riding." Another stated "meant to be rode hard and put up dirty."
I'll let y'all know, especially if it makes anything shiny.
Original Bike Spirits is the best over-all cleaner I've used...on glossy surfaces or chrome. Since it's a polish, I wouldn't use it on your matte finish.
Alright @NickJ .....need a YouTube vid ..... here's your chance to build on that on-screen experience.... plus I want to see the results of this product... being the lazy bastard I am.....
To date, I have used Rat Wax, Chemical Guys meticulous matte, and Harley denim cleaner. So far, Rat wax for the win.
Never even seen it. Perhaps I could trade for some "cheese".
I have a really good experience with the Topcoat F11 product. It is ridiculously expensive in my opinion, but it does a wonderful job on the matte finish. I like how it makes cleaning what does get on the bike easier. In my experience, it does take a few coats of it to really be effective, but after that is done, it is amazing. That being said, I have been looking for something that is as effective and may not be so expensive. I have seen that Rat Wax product myself, and wondered how well it would work. I may have to just try it and see how it compares.
No rush,....kick a boot off,......rest up a little,.......tomorrow,.....there's a lot to love about tomorrow,......
I just realized that I originally posted this almost three years ago and never gave any feedback. The stuff works very well and doesn't add shine.
In conclusion, it's good @Bald_J...it's not a trap.
