Saw a Lego motorcycle at my dealer. I think it was a BMW. Both brands and more at one dealership. Won't be surprised if Lego does an Indian.

At the women freedom rally I talked to lady that I thought was doing a great job of getting kids interested in not only two wheels but getting them interested in moving their little bodies off the couch and outside. She bought and tought kids to ride bicycles. I can't remember the name and I am running out of play time this morning but I will try to find the paper work for it later as I thought it was a good project and actually gave some money to help out her cause.

I really like what this women is doing getting kids outside. Strange how times have changed - when we were kids we prefered to be outside - we had games to play, trees to climb, eels to catch. We built huts and dug caves and fixed up old junk bikes so we could explore further. Mum had had more trouble getting us in the house but so long as we were there for the evening meal she was happy.

Find myself smiling sometimes when some of the things we did come to mind. These are the type of memories every kid should have.

When your only activity is sitting on the couch pressing buttons on your phone or ipad, how do you decide 60 years later which day was best?

My mom use to yell at me all the time when it rained "don't you have the sense to come in from the rain?" My replay was "I guess not." Like you I played outside, we had woods and hills and bicycles and skates and guns and and forts and sled trails, and ponds to fish or jump in. If we were inside it was either we had homework or it was dinner time or we were sick.

Island Bay and yes I was always a little bit crazy lol. Anything with wheels were not safe from my brother and I, we could make amazing trollies out of old prams and the like. Mostly used ball bearings which were pretty quick. Our first motorised vehicle was a villiers powered lawn mower, we took the front blade off and fitted a trailer/seat to the rear, it was cool as until my brother got pulled up by police for riding it on the pavement. He then fitted that motor into a pushbike frame, made his own gearing and had a top speed of 50kms. He later became a very good engineer specialising in making and fitting winches to 4wd,s.
