This looks like a passerby caught the FTR 1200 press event.
Polaris is scrubbing the internet of these photos. I just did a google and Asphalt & Rubber has taken their post down as well.
if you look at the bike, it has a European style tag holder like the bobbers use.
Interesting, resolution is too poor to say much. Can't tell if that's the Scout engine or not.
Look at how the chain changes direction. Chain tensioner in play?
Sure looks like it. Dual discs up front are very clear. Can't make out any specific frame/swingarm details.
They used the same camera to photograph Bigfoot.
@NickJ , do you suspect a planned leak? Most camera phones these days have better resolution than this and the color is off. Just wondering here.....
i suspect that if the photo were any clearer, Polaris' lawyers would have @NickJ in chains by now.
I really like that bike. Took another deposit today.
If it were planned, they would not be contacting folks to have it removed. I altered the color to hopefully get a little more contrast and details out of the muddy pixels. The original photo was likely a zoomed phone camera, hence the vertical portrait and wide angle. I cropped and augmented the light.
It is out in "public" here, with all of those people in the background. Any time they operate in the public areas, they open things up for these photos to be snapped. We shot the Darkhorse photos here in Austin from about 11 midnight to 4-5 am. We were out in the public, so anyone could have gotten shots of what we were doing. It just takes a savvy person to know that what is being photographed is a new motorcycle and not some dumb photo shoot for a Kardashian.
And now that I look closer, this is more likely a photo shoot or commercial shoot. The cops are closing off the street and there appear to be a load of grips and assistants hanging out.
I say it's the new 750s, not the 1200.
The "b" side of the 1200 does seem to have some highlights that are not present in the photo.
It doesn't look like there is a big radiator present. Could that point to the 2020 750?
I like that I see upside down forks.
Definitely an asset there ..
Is that front bike on a main stand? It's upright a there does appear to be two supports to hold it there,.....
No, there is a bike behind it, you can see the stand from both.................
So why is that front bike standing upright if it's on a side side? Check the angle of the forks and seat. They indicate a bike at 90* to the ground,.......ok , it's not a Nostrodamis mystery but I am curious,........
if you look at the bike closest to the camera you can see something under the kickstand, that would explain why the bike is upright.
Look again Nurse, that back Sidestand is at the wrong angle to be on the other bike,.....
