Hey all, I've been busy with my Indian Wrecking Crew FTR1200S RR Tribute build (Original Wrecking Crew post WWII). A supplier/manufacturer I'm working with wants to offer the FTR front and rear axles and rear spacers as a set for a discount, is anybody interest in a stronger lighter axles for their FTRs? Please let me know so I can pass it on. He will be offering most every bolt on the FTR in Titanium, I'm putting them all on my build. Chassis bolts, wheels/brakes, Engine cases/covers, and suspension he is making sets for them all to include a set drilled for racing. The IWC build is coming along, I have most of the parts but still waiting for the BST Candy Red wheels, Vortex sprocket and BrakeTech floating rotors. Will keep you up on the build... let me know about axles. I've edited this thread to include pics of the FTR on the stand and the ceramic coated S&S Cycles exhaust system. The Candy Red carbon wheels with ceramic bearings are in shipping. All the components from Twisted Throttle the R&G dealer in the US have arrived and all the parts from Gilles Tooling are here. I am reshaping the side covers to tank the added lines out because they do not work for me and will not fit the artwork. These tank halves will be in red Carbon/Kevlar as will the front fender, headlight cowl and tail section. I'll post more as I go along.
Yes, made for the FTR by BST. Will have Titanium axles, BrakeTech floating brake rotors specially made for the FTR and a Vortex custom sprocket also made specially for the FTR. I'm working with these manufacturers so they can offer accessories to you all for the FTR. I'll be making Carbon parts also to replace existing parts. All the stock parts I've taken off this FTR1200S RR are for sale. I have the Indian accessories also I'm selling if anyone is interested.
Just received Titanium bolts and nuts for fitment. Manufacturer will offer three types standard, Dimpled, drilled for racing in blue, black and silver. Check out these dimpled bolts and the sprocket nuts.
