    Their new street rod.
I am definitely going to ask for a test ride.
Inverted forks, mid controls, dual disc front brakes, what appears to be a radiator, piggyback rear suspension, all LED lighting, bar end mirrors and then some.
    Check it out.

More of a hopped up engine also....looks like a direct shot at the Scout line up!

    My thoughts exactly!
But at about 1/2 of the HP or the torque of the Scout.

I just hope H-D did a good job of R&D on it. They have a habit of rushing things to market leaving the consumer to sort things out.

I have one more stop to make before I go to the Harley dealer to see if they actually have one in stock.

I find it aesthetically displeasing- like a dressed up Street 750.

It is their water-cooled 750. You should go ride it. I have not heard much good about that powerplant being "exciting," so I would be interested to see what you think about it coming from the Scout 1200.

Did it say that they would be in dealers? I know that they should have the Street 750.

I have a vertically challenged friend who just started riding again and he bought the Street 500. He demo'd the 750 and didn't feel that much more power to spend the extra dollars. I told him he should of just bought a Sportster. Well he just sent me a text that he traded the street 500 for a sportster 1200 custom that was lowered. He said now he can finally keep up with the big boys on the highways.

I just arrived at the dealer. They just got the notice from the mother ship this morning and don't know any more than we do.

This is not a competitor to the current Scout as I see it. Its not a retro cruiser. Its a Street Tracker. This competes with the bike Indian will have to make by 2019 to stay in Flat Track.

Basically 70 hp in a 500 lb sack, with a very nice suspension package. And remember too, all the Vance & Hines go fast stuff being developed for the xg750r will bolt right on. Folks, they're gonna sell a lot of these.

    Not
You think in the USA? I have trouble with that. 1200cc Sportster variants will outsell them here, says my crystal ball.

USA and world wide IMHO. Look at guys like Lenny at Revzilla. If he gets on it and likes it, along with other u-tubers and facebookers, it'll take off. This is aimed at a demographic that does not include me and you.

I'm rooting for it, it could expand the market, for HD and Indian alike. And if it does, you'll see an Indian 750 street tracker a lot sooner than currently planned.

Or maybe not. But it'll be fun to watch.
