Will have this for 3 days. So far it’s been a blast.
Enjoy and give us a review please, thanks Sir
Is it a celebrity's bike? Maybe one you've delivered?
Now that's a test ride!
No it’s a demo. I did sell a bike to a well know hard rock dude
That's the 5 fingered gentlemen to which I was referring. *wink
By the way, I did ride paved roads
So you're sorta like a cross dresser then?,.....,.......
That’s was a long time ago. It was a fraternity prank.
Cool bike,cool helmet, awesome pictures
Having ridden the bike for the past 3 days (400 miles) I will give you my impression of the FTR. Ok. I don’t want to bore anyone so I will break this down between likes and dislikes. I will start with the likes.
Likes; style of the bike. Quality. Finish. Light clutch. Ride modes (especially sport) chain drive. Suspension. Exhaust note. Brakes. Info center. Cruise control. Controls. Saddle.
Dislikes; I can’t buy one right now. I had a hard time keeping her clean (off-road mud) don’t like that tag holder thing but that’s easy to fix.
I honestly didn’t think I would like this bike this much. It’s a total different feel than the Springfield. I wore a 3/4 helmet on the ride home which sucked at highway speeds. The full face is a must. Took me about 50 miles to get used to the different feel. Off road handling on this bike is quite enjoyable. I don’t know how they managed to build a bike that feels equally at home on, as well as off road. This is a refined bike. But rugged as hell. I won’t tell you how I tested that. Riding a cruiser is enjoyable, but I have only been enjoying half of what the open road has to offer. I can only imagine how much fun this would be up in the mountains. I honestly hope that Indian puts this power plant into a street fighter. I can’t say enough about it.
Anyways,That’s all I got.
Awesome report Bobby!,....My mate Andy just traded his Triumph Storm and his Triumph 900 Scrambler in on a big blue Triumph 1200 XE Scrambler,.......I told him time and again,,,,,,Shop around Buddy!,.....try the Indian FTR 1200!,......but no,.....He had his blinkers on,.....He has a nice bike now but I just wish he had tried the FTR, which strikes me as being a bike hiding many guises.
The scrambler is a nice bike. He should have tested both.
Hi Bobby, sounds like a lot of fun and thanks for the report. I love the look if
Hi Bobby, thanks for the report and photos. Looks like a whole lot of fun-
Jesus has spoken and the FTR is good.
Reminds me of this beast. Rode up to Tennessee that spring. Cold in the mountains.
