Okay, I finally found day one pics. They were on this old laptop that I had to resuscitate back to life in order to get at 'em.

Needed the laptop up n running again anyway. ;)

So, at the dealership. No. I wish I was that young. That's my kid Shorty. Same smile I was wearing, though.

Finally home! Been waitin' since August, dammit!

My ugly mug. The Scout looks good, though. ;)

Oh, I've already been informed that I can never sell or trade the Scout, ever. When I'm done with it (if such a thing ever happens) he wants it. If he can come up with the cash, I might sell it to him sooner.

Good enough reason to buy a new one ... ya know?

Wife? What is this "wife" of which you speak? I am unfamiliar with the term.

An assumption on my part, obviously an error in your case,..do accept my most profound apologies. I feel some what belittled here:oops:,....as any further assumption would quite likely prove itself to be as erroneous as the first, I will prohibit myself from further comment as to your wireless state Sir,.....

No worries. I mean I do now recall a couple of people who hung around the house and I believe they used that term for themselves. My memories of those days are a bit hazy now that I'm old. Again. ;)

Old Dinnsdale Piranha back there? Yeah that's an 1100 Silverado. Traded that one for the Vintage.

While I never went to an actual altar - not sure that a hotel ballroom or the top of a 14,000 ft mountain would qualify as altars - I did manage to tie the noose around my neck twice. Managed to get it off before the long drop and sudden stop, so it's all good!

You really want to be as old as many times as me? First you need to get shot, then you have to have your back crushed, then you need to get whacked upside the noggin by a rapidly swinging stand of 2 7/8" tubing, after that a head on collision with a Datsun B210 that results in a couple broken bones is a must, followed by brain tumor and surgery. After all that you can be as old as many times as me!

Not that anyone wants to be ... ;) but there's the recipe.
