I sat on it and wished it had more aggressive controls. I get it now- a cruiser this thing is NOT. It's a super sexy sports bike .

My buddy just bought one. They're putting the grenade exhaust and mini apes on it.

Was cruising down the highway in the Texas Hill Country when I noticed in my mirrors that a bike was catching up to me very quickly.

It turned out to be a new Scout Bobber, he waved as he passed me by while I was cruising at 75.

    TROUBLE IN PARADISE:

So...the dealer just realized that the grenade pipes won't fit with passenger pegs, and since it's the ABS model, the brake line won't work with the apes. He's in contact with Vance and Hines and Indian directly. My friend said he'd forego the passenger seat, but not the apes. They may have to use a...gasp...Harley brake line:eek:

Seems hard to believe as I have seen pics of Bobber with apes.................maybe shop just doesn't want to do it.............but I have seen it.o_O Suggest to your friend a 2:1 exhaust, plenty of benefits, and I believe keep pegs.

I know man, there's even a picture of one on the Indian website! He's handling the whole thing a lot better than I would, he's already been waiting about a month just to get the bike.

Hey DaNurse,it's me again. You are correct Sir ! One of the greatest benefits of going 2 into 1 is a SHITLOAD of weight savings between the Stock System 2 into 2 and I'm suspecting some aftermarket 2 into 2's. I went with Bassani 2 into 1. It is severely compatible with a Perf intake and an Indian Flash. Here is another one, perhaps that is not known, many of the aftermarket 2 into 2's will not allow you to put on passenger pegs,so that you can ride your pretty Girlfriend on the back. RED IRON

Hey Baldhead J, be aware that most aftermarket true duals will not allow you to put passenger pegs on a Bobber. Therefore no need for a "Honey Seat" That's another reason I went with Bassani True Duals. You get it all and can still install Pass Pegs and Honey Seat if you wish. RED IRON

I hear you, but he has two kids that like to take a ride with him. Depending on what Vance and Hines says, he may give up on the two up idea.

Hey Gator, I hear You. If it ain't right then don;t do it . Once again I say that Bassani 2 into 1's allow you to install Pass Pegs then allowing Pass seat. I personally know when I was considering V& H grenades I was told flat out that I could not install Pass Pegs. RED IRON
