Here is a Picture but what a pain if the manual is Correct Remove Starter and Voltage Regulator .. If click the picture it should get a bit larger for Better Visibility and Reading .. Will See if can get a Picture of it on the Bike when go out to the Garage later today ..

I went a looked at my bike and couldn’t see it so I assumed it is behind the starter. The are normally in the front of the case, at least in my experience.

lol I've got the same manual Jay... so I put the bike up on the lift last night & put a jack under her & lifted the front up & found the plug tucked up behind the front pipe & above the 4 small pipes (brake lines etc) just need to get it down far enough to test & yes I have to take the starter etc off if I need to change it :( pictures are a wonderful thing, sort of hoping someone on here has done one

well she's up & running like a dream, somewhere in my travels I'd gone over a curb & broke a bracket hold four small pipes inline & the crank sensor plug sits on top of said pipes so as the bracket let go it must have pulled the plug just enough for it to show up as a fault
I had already taken the starter off along with the regulator etc... only to fined that the sensor is fine, not to worry, put everything back where it should be & hit the starter & away she went fault cleared when I turned it off then restarted test rode last night
so one very happy fella in this house
