Hi ! i’m looking to buy a 2019 Chieftain Limited demo. I had a BMW K1600GT before. I love to do long rides like going for a long weekend or 2 weeks. I really love the look of the Chieftain but I’m wondering if it’s confortable enough...??

Put the Roadmaster seat on it and it is good for 900 mile days.

I've done Alabama to Sturgis in 2 days, comfortably and several guys here have done the Hoka Hey. I have a Roadmaster seat on my Chieftain and have no issues at all.

Thanks for the answers. I suppose the Roadmaster seat is easy to fit it to the Chieftain. Thanks a lot !!

Lol don’t do that to him. Everyone’s ass is different. For me 100 miles on a RM seat and I’m in pain. I run a limited seat from an 2018. And now I can bang out 900 like nothing. We’re all built differently

@FPaquin Try it if you can first before you buy it. I tour and that seat just puts me in pain. We’re all different for me it’s like sitting on a park bench. Like my Corbin that sits on a shelf lol hard as a rock. But again JMO of how it works for me. It’s a lot of $$ to find out. I run the seat of a 18 limited myself. My Brother who has a RM also does the same. My point is if you know someone with a RM borrow there’s and give it a solid 500 mile run before buying one if possible. And it may turn out to be the perfect seat for you. It’s a hell of a lot of money for something that may not fit like you think. Speaking from $$ experience

Just buy a used RM seat and rock on.

@Ny Mike you selling that Corbin? If you don't like the Roadmaster seat and you don't like the Corbin (the Limited seat is just a stock Chieftain seat, nothing special), I'm mystified.

Exactly my point ! We’re all built differently. I rocked the chieftain seat last summer from El Paso to Chicago strait thru approx 1400 miles no problem. I’ve bought and sold more dam seats Baldhead thru the years. But I learned the hard way. Riders swearing this is the seat you want ! And their right if your ass is built like theirs. I have a 18 limited the stock seat works great. One of my club Brothers bought a RM. Hated the seat so we switched on a run. After 1 tank we stopped for gas and I walked up and said MY SEAT PLEASE ! Lol he said see I told you ! Now he runs a stock chieftain seat he picked up for a $100. I dumped my Corbin it was for my HD it killed me too ! Nothing against the RM seat if it works for you it works for you. That’s why I said if you know somebody with one swap out give it a shot before you spend the money to find out you only have to sell the seat again anyway. Just trying to save him a little aggravation if possible. Actually I do have another Corbin lol

Well....I guess the stock seat works for someone. Glad you and your guy are the ones. Makes your life cheaper and easier. I got my first RM seat from @CuChulain and I bought another one when i bought my '19 CDH. Best touring seat I've known. I'm going to let Corbin build me one though. I'm tempted by some custom stuff.

Wasn't there a free big sister seat doing the rounds for people wanting to try something different a while back?

Corbin does make some nice stuff. And I can see why you could roll with one of those. When I tried my Brother’s RM seat the first thing that came to my mind after an hour was. Oh Hell no it’s like my F*ckin Corbin !:D

I’m looking for a better seat for my Vintage. The stock one is uncomfortable after 40 miles, hence the reason I have a AirHawk on it.
6’ 170 lbs, also suffer from noassatall, I’d think they’d make a seat that’s cushioned more for us skinny-asses guys.

Your only 12 lbs heavier then me will. I have a 18 chieftain limited and I run the stock seat that came on that. And I’ve laid down some serious miles in a day with it comfortably. I don’t know if your on the same seat here’s a pic of mine. But I’ve always said what works for one person doesn’t mean a thing when it comes to your ass.

Friend of mine has that seat, I tried it for a hour on his chieftain, those two fabric stitch lines that go from back to front wore my boney ass out, couldn’t wait to get off of it.
    Thanks anyway.

I've got a RM seat and Rogue seat. I'd sell you either one, Will.

The RM suits my bony ass. I have never ridden on the OEM rogue seat, so I don't know.

    They're both black.
