That's quite a collection! Two inside for me, but I am a big fan of all cats and could easily end up with more than two if I didn't remind myself of how much poo they create, haha
I live on the edge of town with a large open field on two sides of me. They just naturally gravitate to my yard. I probably spend 80 or 90 bucks a month in outside cat food. I feel like I am running a "Smorgasbord" for cats. My inside cats are just that, inside cats, NEVER go outside. They have been neutered and declawed in the front. One female black and white Tuxedo 9 years old named Choo Choo usually called by Chewie One male Red Tabby 11 years old named Yum Yum usually called by Yum Yum One male coal black Manx, 13 years old named Mr. Bob Cat usually called Bob.... he is my resident Velcro cat, sit down and he is in your lap. Big powerful cat with large hindquarters with no tail and looks like he is running down hill all the time, very long canine teeth... gentle as lamb. Has never met a stranger! The female tuxedo was born in the house and has never been outside other than to the Vet for shots and such. Stays to herself most of the time. The other two were not born in the house but the same rules apply to them..... Homebodies!
Wow what a beauty! I have always loved Manx cats, had several through the years. Mine have never been out of our home either, best way for them to survive longer per past experiences. Our other cat is black and is a brother to the one I posted. Both are cats on welfare but what I spend on them is worth the affection returned, so I call it even. I'm glad you are caring for the ones in need in your area...they are certainly hard to resist right!
Boo is a Polydactyl check out those paws. Her brother doesn't have the extra toes but is still pretty cool.
Calico sisters, Marbles and Miss Beasley. Marbles is a big gal weighing in at around 40 lbs. Bless her waddling soul. This is Marbles laying with our precious Jett before she [Jett] passed away last summer.
For my daughters 12th birthday I got her a date with a Liger cub. She was real happy. So was my daughter.
40 lbs must be some kinda record...the cat food poster child The border collie tugs at my heart too, we had one for 17 years and he was best friends with our cat Fred, RIP to them both. It's so cool when cat and dog are buddies. Sorry to hear of your Jet's passing...very lovely couple.
Now that's a cat! How gorgeous, both daughter and cat and lady with them. What a good gift and a memorable one for sure!

If you are a true cat person, then you realize that you have never owned a cat in your entire life. THE CAT OWNS YOU!
Oh, definitely! Cat boxes cleaned, water bowls changed, inside cats fed, outside cats fed, then I get to eat. I'm certainly glad they let me stay in their home! Some nights they even let me sleep without running across my chest playing at night.
They were there because my wife loved them, she passed 5 years and 5 months ago and I still take care of them and have learned to love them too!
And then you get to wake with one of them staring you down in the morning reminding you to start the routine all over again
