Which, in case it matters, a roadname she is not really fond of. :(

I'm gonna try not break a finger this year or piss off any minor Indian YouTube celebrities; no promises.

    What???
When assigned she was very happy about it. Besides, it fits her riding style.

I know @Quinn_the_Eskimo has a few rides already layed out. I'm always open for additonal ones and new ideas. Having lived not far from there for 5 years or so, plus attending every Pow Wow, I do get a little "stale" on the riding and routes.

For those of you from out of town, keep in mind that getting to the Dragon (or Cherohola) from Maggie = 70 something miles. It's a long day and weekend traffic throughout this area is pretty heavy.

    Ideas:
Rt 276 > 215 south is a pretty technical ride, more of a local unknown route (215, at least)...adn can easily be looped with the BRP or down to rt 64 east (Brevard, NC, back up 276) or west (Cashiers, NC back up 281 or the 28 Moonshiner).

Rt 28 The Moonshiner is a great road and probably my favorite. It can be a long day depending on 1) how far you ride it 2) which way you go. A couple years back we ended up in Hiawassee, GA for lunch and that was a pretty fun day (for numerous reasons :) )

The BRP is epic and should be ridden at least once if you haven't done so already, but if the weather is nice, there will be a tremendous amount of slow traffic. Just be prepared....

Also...pack rain gear!!!! Weather systems roll through the area quickly and aggressively!

Any other ideas hit me up....I'll try to be more present on this venue between now and then...also have changed my email link for notifications which should mean better communication :).

@Quinn_the_Eskimo we should have a live chat soon....and I'm in no way retired so be nice LOL...peace ! JJ

The Moonshiner is my favorite ride up there and I've not done the BRP in a few years.

If you've never done it though, Cherohala to Klingman's Dome is UNFORGETTABLE.

Rt 441, being the only "360 deg" switchback I've ever ridden (totally spectacular), & while very scenic is wholly unenjoyable when it's 95F on an air cooled bike in 10 mph stop and go traffic....

    Roger all above.
Was thinking about a Zoom Planning meeting in a couple of weeks.
Let me know who is interested in attending. I already have everyone (registered) email addresses, so no need to post them here. I'm thinking Apr 30, or sometime after May 8 - early evening hours.

    Hi Everyone,

UPDATE: Due to the medical condition of an immediate Family member (not RV or me), as things stand right now, we will not be attending this years Pow Wow.

This also marks the very first one I've missed which is kind of a bummer. I will be cancelling our reservation at the Comfort Inn within the next few days, in case someone needs a room (feel free to DM me).

Anyway, enjoy and ride safe ! - JJ
